New Moorings is situated on level ground 600m from the train and bus stations, 300m or less from the sea-front, town centre and marina? the building has 3 floors but no lift; there is a ground floor twin-bedded room ? stairs access the first and second floors: the ground floor has no steps? there is level wheelchair access from the street to the ground floor room and breakfast room, although there are NO specialist provisions for disabled people? all rooms are clearly signed ? the fire exit is clearly identified ? corridors and staircases are well lit? there is free and unrestricted parking on the street avoiding double yellow lines; parking on the sea-front is free between October 1st and April 30th and a limited number of parking permits for a car park 300m away are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Several other paying carparks are nearby.? information regarding public transport, taxi companies, public toilets and directions to the promenade, town centre and marina are all available from Anne and Dave? a variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars are within a distance of 400m on level ground? all major special dietary needs can be catered for (please specify on booking)Please do not hesitate to discuss any special requirements with us as your comfort is our top priority.
